Home Visits

Home visits are for patients who are housebound and for those who are too ill to attend the surgery. Please use the services thoughtfully, and ring as early as possible in the morning to request a visit. Where possible please call the surgery before 10.30am if you wish to request a home visit. Please give a brief description of the symptoms and give a contact telephone number.

The receptionist may ask for further information to enable the doctor to determine the priority and nature of the visit and a doctor will telephone you back to speak to you direct.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Medical Centre.
